Poundland film inspired this technique.

Living in London meant I did not have huge amounts of disposable income to spend on my hobbies. I learnt to work around some of these challenges.

In London everything is expensive. Rent, transport, photographic film in medium format. I loved using my Holga 120 camera, but found it difficult to justify the expense of 120 format film. Once I found out you could purchase 35mm film from Poundland (yes! for £1!) , I began experimenting to try to collage two films together to get one 120-ish sized film. These are some of the results!

14th Frame acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land, the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation, on which we live and work; and the Njaki Njaki people of the lands on which we were born and raised.  Always was, always will be, Aboriginal land.
